How to connect
Point your miner at stratum.hashlak.com with the port that fits your setup. Use the hostname, never an IP: the Stratum server can move behind the same name.

Payouts run every 10 minutes once your balance reaches 0.5 XEL. Mine to a wallet you control, not to an exchange deposit address.

Which address do I mine to?
A Xelis address starts with xel: and is 63 characters long. Test-network addresses (xet:) are refused, and so are long integrated addresses from exchanges — the pool mines to the base address only. Mine to your own wallet (Genesix or the command-line wallet) and transfer to an exchange afterwards.
What are "side" blocks in the stats?
Xelis is a BlockDAG: blocks found at the same height as another block are side blocks and earn 30% of the reward. They count for you like any other block. Blocks need 50 topoheights to confirm, which takes a few minutes.
When and how am I paid?
Every 10 minutes the pool pays every balance above 0.5 XEL and covers the network fee itself. With 5-second blocks a small miner typically crosses the threshold within hours, not days.
GPU, CPU or both?
Both. SRBMiner mines XelisHash v3 on AMD, NVIDIA and Intel GPUs and on the CPU, together in one process (--cpu-threads next to the GPU). Rigel is the alternative on NVIDIA. As a rough idea: a laptop RTX 2070 does about 3.3 kH/s at 72 W, a desktop card more (our measurements, approximate).
Which port and difficulty?
3303 for one card or CPU, 3403 for farms, 3503 for TLS (stratum+ssl:// with Rigel, --tls true with SRBMiner). To pin the difficulty add d=50000 to the password (minimum 2500 on 3303, 100000 on 3403). HiveOS: pool custom, URL stratum.hashlak.com:3403, wallet %WAL%, worker %WORKER_NAME%.
